End User License Agreement

When you buy a Guide, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download it and to view and print it for your own personal, non-commercial use, on your own devices. Household members may use your copy for trip planning.

You may not:

• Sell, resell, rent, lend, sublicense, or otherwise distribute a Guide or its parts.
• Post a Guide, or links to download it, on any website, file-sharing service, or forum.
• Use a Guide or its content in a commercial product, service, tour, or publication.
• Remove copyright notices, branding, or identifiers from a Guide.
• Use a Guide to train or feed a machine-learning or AI system, or bulk extract its text.

You may make reasonable backup copies and print pages for your own use, and you may share short excerpts as permitted by fair use.

The Guides are licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights, title, and interest, including copyright, in the Guides and their design and artwork. Park maps and certain images originate from the National Park Service or other public-domain sources and remain free for public use in their original form; our selection, arrangement, and original content are protected. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

A printed Guide is a physical copy for your own use. Owning it does not grant any right to reproduce or distribute its content beyond what this agreement permits.

We may revise Guides and re-issue them; updated files, when offered, are available from your account’s “Your guides” page. We do not promise any particular update schedule.

This license lasts until terminated. It ends automatically if you breach it, and we may suspend access to downloads in that case. On termination you must delete or destroy all copies of the Guides in your possession, other than printed pages kept for personal use where the law permits.

The Guides are provided “as is,” without warranty, and are travel-planning aids only. Conditions, rules, and facilities change, and outdoor activity is inherently risky. Verify current information with the National Park Service before you go. Our liability is limited as described in the Terms of Service.
